Booking Policies

  • The rates published on this website in US dollars are valid only on the day of quotation, and are subject to change without prior notice. All reservations are subject to availability. When the total payment is made, the confirmation code is issued.
  • When booking, either through the website, by e-mail or by telephone, you authorize the use of your credit card number to proceed with the payment, and expressly confirm to know and accept the terms and conditions of our company mentioned on this page.
  • Once the payment is confirmed, representatives of the company will contact you to provide additional information about your reservation, as well as the service confirmation coupon/code. It is not necessary to print it, but to keep it digitally until the moment of using the contracted service since it will be requested by the agent in charge of the service at the time of check-in.
  • The credit card holder must sign the boarding pass before using the service. In case the person who shows up is not the owner of the card with which it was made the reservation, he or she must present an authorization and valid copy of the identification of the credit card holder.
  • In the event of a tropical storm, hurricane or closed port by order of the Federal Navy, you can reschedule the date of the contracted activity or exchange it for another excursion, being that in this particular situation, the payment is not reimbursable. In case of opting for a higher value excursion, the corresponding difference must be paid.
  • The service voucher is valid only with the presentation of an identification that proves the identity of the passenger.

Payment Policies

  • By booking online, via e-mail or telephone contact (WhatsApp) it is authorized the use of your credit card number to make the payment for the service. Changes in a reservation are subject to availability and fee requote.
  • The total price of the reservation of the contracted service will be immediately charged to your credit or debit card.
  • Once the reservation is made, you accept the payment terms. The corresponding charge will be in local currency, at the exchange rate of the day.
  • The accepted cards are Visa and MasterCard. If you prefer to pay via wire transfer, contact our advisors who will guide you to carry it out.

Responsibility Policies

Cocotrip Excursiones provides high quality services as an intermediary agent between the client and the service providers mentioned in this website. Continuing with the premise of offering the best service, Cocotrip Excursiones establishes commercial relationships with the best qualified suppliers and that have a track record and personnel that guarantee their seriousness and services. However, Cocotrip Excursiones does not assume any liability to those who contract services on the website, via e-mail or telephone, for actions or omissions of the suppliers advertised here, because it has no control over their work team.

Scope of Liability

Cocotrip Excursiones will not assume responsibility for cost or expense generated by personal or third party injuries, accidents or death, lost or damaged personal property, boredom, anger, disappointment or anguish, produced by the following causes:
  • Actions and/or omissions of any person not belonging to Cocotrip Excursiones.
  • Mechanical failures, quarantine, government actions, weather conditions, or any other cause beyond the direct control of Cocotrip Excursiones.
  • Disqualification of the client to travel for not having the corresponding legal documentation. Such situation produces the loss of the right to reimbursement by the client.
  • Failure of the client to follow the instructions provided by Cocotrip Excursiones personnel to carry out the contracted service.
  • Cancellation or changes for any reason of the offered travel services. Cocotrip Excursiones reserves the right to cancel or change the published services, in which case they will be replaced by similar services. If a reservation must be canceled, the responsibility of Cocotrip Excursiones will be limited to the reimbursement of the money actually paid by the client.
  • Full and/or partial refund will not be applicable in situations where the trip has to be canceled, interrupted or postponed by Cocotrip Excursiones, due to reasons of force majeure (such as hurricanes, earthquakes, harbor closure for water activities ruled by the Federal Navy, etc.) and in which the contractual obligations of Cocotrip Excursiones with its suppliers do not allow it to obtain reimbursement of the sum paid. In these cases, Cocotrip Excursiones reserves the right to withhold 10% of the total amount paid on reservation due to administrative expenses.

Cancellation and Refund Policies

  • To request the cancellation of a service, you must contact in writing, via e-mail or WhatsApp, with the company mentioning your reservation number.
  • The full payment will be refunded if the company should suspend the tour due to force majeure (for example, due to unfavorable weather conditions).
  • Reservations that are canceled 48 hours or more prior to the date of the tour will be reimbursed in full. In case of cancellations made 24 hours prior to the tour date, the reprogramming of it is accepted and if the client does not agree with the new available date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
  • If at the time to start the tour, the client does not show up at the designated site, the paid amount will not be refunded.
  • In case of illness, the tour can be rescheduled as long as a medical certificate is presented and the notification is prior to pick-up time.
